The Lord put church planting on Corey's heart in 2002 while he was a student at Temple Baptist Seminary in Chattanooga, TN. Little did Corey know that God would use that desire to bring him to Grace Church in 2004 where he now serves as an Associate Pastor overseeing youth and children's ministry as well as assisting in pastoral care for the whole congregation. Corey married Kristy in the summer of 2000. Together they have two toddler boys, and another on the way.
