Ministries

Family Night – Family Night is the new plan to consolidate the small group ministry of the church (formerly meeting in homes) into one corporate gathering.  We plan to meet two times per month (6-7:45PM) on Sunday nights at Glenkirk.  At those meetings we will have a corporate time of singing, testimony and brief teaching, followed by small groups for encouragement and application.  There will be care for children of all ages including a preschool and elementary school choir.  For all the details click here.

Women's Ministry - We are currently in the process of renewing and restructuring the ways that our ladies can organize themselves to be life givers and to nurture community life in and through Grace Church. Please keep an eye on Grace News for upcoming ladies events.

Youth Ministry -The youth ministry (7th-12th grade) at Grace Church exists to link arms with parents in pointing their young people to trust-filled relationships with Christ and building a uniquely God-centered worldview into them. The youth meet on Sundays at 9:15 during the Bible study hour. On the 1st adn 3rd Wednesday of very month the Jr. High meet in a home at 6:30pm. The Sr. High do likewise on the 2nd and 4th Wednewday of each month. They also participate in regular youth events ranging from conferences to camping. Contact Corey Shepherd at cshepherd@gcgv.org

Preschool Ministry -The preschool ministry (birth through 5 year olds) at Grace Church maintains the goal of creating a safe and loving environment in which the children entrusted to our care are able to learn about the character of God, discover Biblical truth, and learn what it means to follow Jesus Christ. Children's Ministry - The Children's ministry (Kindergarder -6th grade) at Grace Church exists to invest Biblical truths in children and their parents in order to create a God centered world view and point them to faith in Jesus Christ. Age-specific children's classes meet during the Bible Study hour at 9:15. During the worship hour at 10:30 'Grace Kids' and 'Grace Juniors' meets in age specific groups for children through 6th grade. Contact Corey Shepherd at cshepherd@gcgv.org

Music Ministry - Since music is a tool through which we can both remember and enjoy God's truth, we desire to make full use of it in every area of the church. If this is an area you feel God has gifted you in please contact Rod Fultz at rfultz@gcgv.org to discuss current opportunities to serve the Lord through music.

Sound Ministry - It takes a good bit of technical coordination to make our Sunday morning celebrations possible, from set up to adjusting levels to take down. We can use ALL the help we can get! Please contact Jammie Scott at Jhscott10181@comcast.net

Media Ministry - The media ministry is responsible for much of the church's material including the weekly bulletins, church flyers, and the website. Help is always needed with this important task. If you are interested in possibly serving in the media ministry please contact Kristy Shepherd at kristyshepherd@gmail.com

Grace Roadies - This 'hands-on' ministry of workers unloads, sets up and takes down our equipment every week at Glenkirk Elementary. This is always a pressing need in our church!
